What $3,000 a month rents in Somerville now

It looks like it’ll get you at least three bedrooms in neighborhoods such as Davis and Union squares

Inman Square

Unit 1 at 34 Calvin Street comes with central air and a washer-dryer. The three-bedroom, one-bathroom runs to 1,135 square feet.

Tufts University area

The 1,100-square-foot Unit 1 at 87 Irving Street includes three bedrooms and one bathroom as well. There is laundry in the building’s basement, and the rent covers access to both private and shared outdoor space.

Union Square

Unit 3L at 12 Kilby Street is another three-bedroom, one-bathroom—this one 950 square feet. Much of it has been refinished. There’s laundry in the basement.

Between Davis and Porter squares

Tenants can live in a 1,757-square-foot Philly-style apartment with three bedrooms and one bathroom at 16 Windsor Road’s Unit 2. The $3,000 a month also covers two parking spots.

Teele Square

Unit 68 at 68 Endicott Avenue is another three-bedroom, one-bathroom. This 1,698-square-foot apartment includes central air, and the rent covers free use of a washer-dryer in the building’s basement.
