A renovation of a property built in the late 1860s produced the modern townhouse at 146 West Newton Street in the go-go South End.

The five-floor house comes with the potential for five bedrooms, including a main suite with its own terrace. There are also two other terraces and a garden, and the $7.25 million tag through Sprogis & Neale covers two parking spaces as well.

The most striking feature, though, is the sleek, capacious look that the redo produced—a redo that included extending all five floors in the rear to give more space. The house totals 4,535 square feet, which is a lot for Boston inside the outer edges. What’d you think?
