What $800,000 buys around Boston now

It looks like the price commands at least two bedrooms throughout the city—and maybe parking too

Dorchester

Unit PM301 at 1241-1251 Adams Street in Dorchester’s Lower Mills includes two bedrooms and two bathrooms in its 1,506 square feet. The apartment is also within a complex that includes a fitness center and an indoor lap pool. It’s asking $800,000 even, and the condo fee is $879.

Back Bay

A fenced-in brick patio comes with the 901-square-foot Unit 3 at 197 St. Botolph Street. The condo also has two bedrooms and one bathroom. The tag is a rather precise $799,999, and the condo fee is $281.

Jamaica Plain

Two deeded parking spaces come with Unit 4 at 68-70 Perkins Street, which also includes two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The 1,903-square-foot spread is retailing for $799,999, with a condo fee of $328.

South Boston

The 961-square-foot Unit 12 at 545 East Third Street was built this year as part of a 12-unit project, and includes two bedrooms as well as three bathrooms. The $799,900 tag and the $364.54 condo fee also cover one heated garage parking space.

West Roxbury

We end in one of Boston’s more suburban enclaves, where the 2,000-square-foot 31 Crehore Road is asking $799,900. The colonial dating from the 1930s includes three bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms.
