Openness is the focus of Unit 178 at 178 Harvard Street in between Cambridge’s Central and Kendall squares. The cavernous townhouse is retailing now through Berkshire Hathaway’s Jeff Stephens for $1.495 million.

Its three levels and 2,341 square feet include three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, and there’s access to a sizable back patio too. The house also comes with multiple decks and a hot tub.

What’d you think? By Cambridge standards, it’s actually not that terrifyingly pricey, even at $638 a square foot. A report from the Greater Association of Realtors, for instance, pegged the average condo sales price for the immediate Boston area, including Cambridge, at $673 a square foot in October. The average for single-families was $410.
