The 2,487-square-foot Victorian at 71 Walk Hill Street in Jamaica Plain has flourishes such as stained glass and built-in shelves as well as an ornate staircase.

But the real draw must be the 119-year-old house’s sheer size. There’s that square-footage, for one, and the potential for up to five bedrooms. There are also two bathrooms as well as a back deck and a fenced-in yard beyond that.

The house, too, is near Hyde Park Avenue and the Forest Hills Orange Line-commuter rail stop. What’d you think? The whole thing is retailing for a relatively low $850,000 through Re/Max Way’s Gregory D’Eugenio.
