The circa-1885 spread comes with three bedrooms and two parking spots—and the potential for upgrades

The bones of the house at 3 Lexington Street just off Monument Square in heavily historic Charlestown date from around 1885.

The spread—which includes three bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms as well as two tandem parking spots—is on sale now through Century 21 Elite for $1.2 million, or some $791 a square foot.

The house could perhaps use some work, a reality its listing is frank about: “Is just waiting for someone’s personal touch and taste.” But, really, the location is the selling point here. Right?
