The median one-bedroom apartment rents in Roxbury and Mission Hill increased more than 10 percent each from the fall of 2018 to the winter of 2019, according to a new report from real estate listings site Zumper.
The report tracked vacant and available Boston apartments from November to February, so it is a pretty solid snapshot of the market right now.
Roxbury’s median one-bedroom rent was up to $1,780 a month, and Mission Hill’s was up to $2,100. Both were far from the most expensive neighborhoods in Boston, though, for renting a one-bedroom. That fell predictably to enclaves deeper into downtown.
The below map offers a color-coded guide to the most expensive and the least expensive neighborhoods for leasing a one-bedroom Boston apartment as of February.
