Loft includes oversized windows and exposed cement beams

Given the provenance of its building, it’s probably no surprise that Unit 201 at 251 Heath Street in Jamaica Plain has 17-foot ceilings and that those ceilings have exposed cement beams. Nor are the oversized windows a surprise.

That is because the building used to house the Victorian-era American Brewing Co., one of several breweries once scattered around that area of Boston (which is, of course, home to other, more modern breweries now, including the Samuel Adams flagship).

The 665-square-foot, one-bedroom, one-bathroom Unit 201 is asking $469,000 through Keller Williams’ Jessica Ye. The tag covers deeded parking. Drink it in.
