Cambridge rowhouse asks a relatively low $850,000

It’s not every day that a single-family in one of the Boston region’s most expensive markets drops for under $1 million

Cambridge is not the market that prospective Boston-area homebuyers hunt in typically if they’re seeking a bargain. The city of 113,000 hosts some of the highest housing prices in the region, if not the nation, and that is especially true of Cambridge’s single-families.

Yet here comes 6 Livermore Place in the Inman Square area. It’s asking $850,000.

It needs a little TLC in some places, but the rowhouse is a genuine single-family. It runs to 1,300 square feet, and includes two bedrooms as well as one and a half bathrooms. There’s a sauna, too, and a backyard. The tag also covers a parking spot.

Keller Williams’ Beth Sager has the listing, which pencils out to $653 a square foot. Still a deal in Cambridge.
