The 17-room, 6,132-square-foot penthouse at the new Lydon condos at 401 Beacon Street in Back Bay has sold for $14.3 million, or $2,332.03 a square foot. The deal closed June 27.

The topmost unit in this six-unit conversion of a circa-1927 apartment building includes two levels, four bedrooms, four full baths and two halves, and access to four parking spaces, and a large private outdoor deck as well as access to garaged parking spaces.

The Lydon also comes with a pool and concierge services, among other amenities.

EMBARC Studio designed the conversion, and Georgantas Design + Development is the developer behind it. Cabot & Company’s Rene Rodriguez is marketing the building. There are three single-floor units left, starting at $6.6 million each.
