It looks like Brookline’s Chestnut Hill is losing two of its superstars: Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have listed their 9,716-square-foot dream estate for a whopping $39.5 million.
In 2013, Brady and Bündchen won approval from Brookline’s zoning board to purchase the five-acre lot of land on which their palatial five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom home now sits. The property, designed by architect Richard Landry (who has also designed homes for celebrities like Michael Jackson and Mark Wahlberg), features a 2,400-square-foot detached guest house, a chef’s kitchen, a recreation room, a theater, a wine room, a gym, a massage room, and a spa.
But no matter what the property is worth, burning questions remain: Where are they going? Could we possibly be losing them? The New York Post reported that the couple, who already own a $25 million condo in Tribeca, were house hunting in—gasp—the New York suburbs.
So if you’ve got the cash flow to pay the estimated mortgage of $143,668 a month, then seriously consider 112 Woodland Road, listed by Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty.
