What $2,500 a month rents in Boston now

The sum can command quite a bit of space, depending on where you look in the city—here are options in Dorchester, Mission Hill, the North End, and elsewhere

South Boston

Dorchester

Located in Dot’s St. Marks area, Unit 3 at 46 Semont Road includes three bedrooms and one bathroom within its 1,125 square feet. There’s also central air, in-unit laundry, front and back porches, and a private yard.

Mission Hill

Unit 305 at 1457 Tremont Street is part of a new development opening this year. The 489-square-foot one-bedroom, one-bathroom includes a washer-dryer.

Roxbury

The recently renovated Unit 1 at 3 Westminster Avenue includes four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. The 1,100-square-foot apartment also includes a washer-dryer.

North End

The 650-square-foot Unit 1 at 79 Prince Street includes two bedrooms and one bathroom.
