What $800,000 buys in Somerville now

East Somerville

This 1,546-square-foot colonial with five bedrooms and one bathroom at 34 Fountain Avenue is asking $799,999. There’s a driveway and a finished attic.

Near the Cambridge line

Unit 5 is a penthouse in the newer Metro9 Condominiums at 9 Medford Street near Somerville’s border with Cambridge. The 844-square-foot one-bedroom, one-bathroom is asking $799,900. It comes with central air, a washer-dryer, and access to a fitness center. The HOA fee is $657.

Near the Cambridge line

This is another Metro9 spread for sale. Unit 712 is asking $798,000 for its 969 square feet and one bedroom as well as one bathroom. It includes a washer-dryer and central air. The HOA is $657.

Davis Square

The 965-square-foot Unit 3 at 47 Electric Avenue near Tufts University is part of a three-unit conversion. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom with central air and washer-dryer hookups is asking $789,900, with an HOA fee of $190. There’s also a deck.

Powder House Square

On the less expensive end of the $800,000 penumbra in Somerville is Unit 2 at 53 Albion Street. The spread is the biggest of the condos herein, though, with three bedrooms and one bathroom in its 1,463 square feet. There are hookups for a washer and a dryer as well as front and back porches. The asking is $775,000, and the HOA is $250.
