The nine-room duplex at 85 Willowwood Street is part of a renovation of a two-family property that wrapped in 2019, and is an excellent example of how far money can go farther from Boston’s core—in this case, along the border between Mattapan and Dorchester.

The spread includes three full bathrooms as well as two bedrooms. And there’s parking for at least two, including via a driveway. There’s also central air.

Now, to the price: The 2,266-square-foot Unit 85 at 85 Willowwood is asking $598,900 through Exit Realty. Boston’s median condo sales price was $705,000 in December, according to the latest figures from the Greater Boston Association of Realtors and the Warren Group, a local firm. What’d you think?
