Sales at the 82-unit VITA condo complex at 3531 Washington Street in Jamaica Plain are averaging just under $700,000 each. The highest gross price so far at the six-story building has been $1.293 million.
VITA opened to residents last week after a couple of years of construction. It’s one of a handful of recently proposed or advanced residential projects in JP, including the 39-unit TEMPO in Egleston Square, the 23-unit 121 Brookside Avenue, and the 21-unit 50 Stedman Street.
Nearly 90 percent of VITA’s units are spoke for, with deals closed on about 40 of the 82. It’s a higher-end building, with amenities such as concierge services, a pet spa, ample parking with electric-car-charging stations, and a roof deck with fire pits and grills. Residents can also access a Planet Fitness.
Finegold Alexander Architects designed the contemporary property, and Back Bay Development Group and SSG Development developed it. Resis’ Tina Bacci is handling sales.
As for those sales prices, they appear to be in line with Boston condos overall. The median condo price citywide was $700,000 in January, according to a Greater Boston Association of Realtors report.
