Colorful Cambridge two-bedroom practically a steal at under $600,000

It’s rare to find a spread like this for so relatively little in the People’s Republic

Cambridge is one of the Boston region’s more expensive condo markets. The Warren Group, a research firm, pegged the median condo sales price in Cambridge at $760,000 in December—considerably above the Boston median of $705,000, for instance.

So when a condo like Unit 2 at 35 Washburn Avenue hits the market for $599,000, it’s something to behold. The colorful two-bedroom, one-bathroom spread near both the Arlington and the Somerville lines runs to 956 square feet.

The tag covers a washer-dryer and access to a shared backyard and patio. Coldwell Banker has the listing. What’d you think?
