Arlington Center triplex with outdoor space wants $725,000

The condo in a property dating from 1910 is a good example of the sorts of deals that can be found farther from the Boston area

It’s a truism of Boston-area real estate that the farther you get from Boston’s core the less expensive condos become (it can be another story with single-families). The Arlington Center triplex at 46 Lombard Terrace near Spy Pond is proof.

The 1,948-square-foot spread with ample outdoor space is asking $725,000 through Century 21 Adams KC. That pencils out to $372 a square foot, which is less than half of what Boston condos were going for at the end of January.

The condo, which is in a property dating from 1910, also has two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. Its location, too, puts it a short bus or car ride from both Cambridge and Somerville. What’d you think?

A kitchen with an island in the middle, and the island has built-in shelves.
There’s a deck off the kitchen.
A dining room with a long table and chairs.
There’s that outdoor entertainment space too.
A bedroom with a standing mirror and a curtain pulled across one wall of the room.
The condo has two bedrooms.
A front deck, narrow and with a small couch.
And there’re two decks.

There is also other outdoor space, including a patio. That’s the Spy Pond area across the street.
