The novel coronavirus pandemic has harvested immense anxiety in the Boston area, shuttering hundreds of businesses and organizations and putting thousands of residents on edge about their work and their housing.
Gov. Charlie Baker has ordered all nonessential businesses closed until at least May 4 and all schools closed into May as well. That has left residents to cope as best they can amid an unpredictable outbreak.
