A five-story, 37-unit condo building at 287 Maverick Street in East Boston’s Jeffries Point will replace an existing warehouse. Twenty-five of the units will be two-bedrooms; 10 one-bedrooms; and two studios. Five will be income-restricted.
The project is but the latest in Eastie, though it’s not really that close to the Blue Line like so many other developments. It’s closer to Logan Airport, in fact.
The development, which has all the necessary green lights from the city, is due to include 2,180 square feet of retail space for a ground-floor restaurant or cafe; and it will have 30 off-street parking spaces and 38 on-site bike spots.
Construction has yet to start. Stay tuned.
