New developments, new retail and new residents (new!) have made Southie one of the region's game-changing-est neighborhoods the last several years. Perhaps that is why $2,000 a month does not appear to net you much beyond the basics in terms of apartment-living. None of the options currently available offer in-unit laundry, for instance, and parking as part of the rent seems truly elusive. Still, there are a couple of gems herein (fully furnished, anyone?) and all of the mapped options do get you a ringside seat to South Boston's myriad changes.
