It's one of those magic numbers in the Boston rental market: $3,000 a month. What does it lease you nowadays around the city? Depending on location, quite a bit. You're virtually guaranteed at least two bedrooms (virtually). And amenities such as a garaged parking space, an in-house W/D and outdoor space would not be out of the question. It seems that $3,000 a month in Boston circa late 2015 is a world removed from the tenancy options at $2,500. There, location plays a much bigger role and the amenities are not that striking.
