All 20 Boston Homes Asking More Than $5M Right Now

View as Map

If there is one bit of buyer schadenfreude in this map of the 20 most expensive homes currently on the market in Boston, it is that the priciest have been on the market seemingly forever, especially when you consider how fast properties have been moving in this inventory-starved town. The priciest of all, the Benjamin Mansion at 74 Beacon Street, has basically been up for grabs for four years, and the nearby townhouse at 56 Beacon, the third-priciest, dropped in January 2011. To be fair, though, there are plenty that are fairly new to the market. Their arrivals in the last couple of months have swelled the number of ultra-luxury listings in Boston to what we think is its highest level so far this year.
