The recently finished Starboard at 45 First Avenue in the Charlestown Navy Yard sold far and away more condos in April than any other building in Boston. It's not that surprising. For one thing, the 54-unit complex is, indeed, new. For another, it arrives in a city absolutely starved for fresh condo inventory. The Starboard itself, recall, was supposed to be apartments, but the developer pivoted to condos amid that stonking demand. Other notable names among the 10 best-selling condo buildings in Boston at the start of spring (per our pals at PropertyShark) include the W Boston, One Charles Boston and the Waterworks out in Chestnut Hill.
