Millennium Tower claims a hefty share

'Tis no surprise that small does not exactly equal cheaper in the Boston housing market right now. This map of the 10 most expensive 1-BR condos for sale right now further proves that. The data comes courtesy of real estate research site NeighborhoodX, which tracked the priciest market-rate listings available.

Not surprisingly, these titanic 1-BRs are concentrated in certain areas of the city, including Back Bay and the waterfront. In fact, nearly one-third are concentrated in a single building: the recently opened Millennium Tower.
