Mapping Apple-Picking Orchards Not Too Far from Boston

View as Map

'Tis suddenly fall and one fall activity that just screams New England is apple-picking. But where to do it in our go-go urban area? Simple: Outside of said urban area. Herewith is a map of several orchard options within a short car or train ride from Boston proper and even shorter from some of the surrounding cities (all are in eastern Mass.). Check the websites for the costs of plucking your own fruit; and rest assured that at least two of these options are wineries as well.
