Boston is touted as America's most walkable big city, but how walkable is it? We used one of Boston's oldest and most prominent landmarks (out of a few dozen), Boston Common, as a starting point to map out open houses in a half-mile radius. Surprisingly, we found homes that range from the low end of half a million to $3M-plus. From renovated historic red brick homes to newish full-service buildings, having the Common as your backyard may be the best feature of them all.
