Where to pick your own pumpkin within 25 miles of downtown Boston

Because you crave the experience, but you don't want it to take all day

View as Map

Halloween is imminent and every decent Boston-area household needs a pumpkin. Should you desire to leapfrog over the middleman and pick your own, here are several options within 25 miles of downtown Boston. Because, let's be honest, one may want the fresh-air experience of plucking one's own decorative squash from the cold earth; but one may not want it to take all day.

A note: Please check with the farms or their websites to see about picking charges—and to see if they might've run out of fresh pumpkins to actually pick. Right now, it's all systems go at all but one of these farms; and the remainder is expected to come online soon.
