Now is as good of a time as ever to get into Somerville. It's the first Boston-area city in ages to have gotten a new T stop (Assembly Row) and one of the few to have successfully adopted the "build and they will come" approach (again, Assembly Row). At the same time, Somerville has been busy working to retain its quirkiness and appeal to urbanites. With that said, housing in the city runs the gamut, from million-dollar single-family homes to condos around $500K going well over asking. This week's open house tour features a little taste of what Somerville has to offer.
