The Best Hotel Pools in Boston

View as Map

It's Hotels Week 2013 here at Curbed Boston! Thanks for checking inn (heh).

It's hot out and it's going to get hotter. So here are 12 hotel pools in which to cool off and chill out. They include ones that might be hard to get into if you're not a guest (the InterContinental, the Back Bay Hilton) as well as ones wide open for the right price (the Colonnade, the Indigo). There are also hidden gems like the newish Revere and the Sheraton. And a few are not merely pools—they're basically nightclubs with bobbing ropes instead of velvet ones. Everyone in!

The Sheraton Boston

Probably the hidden gem on our map, the Sheraton Boston's pool sits beneath a retractable roof. Two other things: It's likely Boston's biggest lap pool and it's often sparsely used (hence the hidden gem bit). It appears to be open to guests only (and their guests).

The Ritz-Carlton

The 75-foot-long pool (that's junior Olympic) is on the exclusive side (we couldn't find photos!) as it's part of the attached mammoth Sports Club/LA. Open Monday through Friday from 5:30 am to 11 pm; and weekends from 7 am to 8 pm.
