It's a sign of the uber-priciness of the Boston housing market that the New England Patriots' potential per-player payout of $165,000 won't buy much in Boston proper. It will, however, pay a year's rent for some pretty swanky spreads. The $165K figure is based upon the monies each player gets for winning the division, the conference and (what the hell) the league. Divided by 12 months, that equals $13,750. We'll assume team members have enough banked to cover security deposits.
